Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief Yasin Malik on Monday morning visited Tral and other south Kashmir areas to meet the families of those killed during the ongoing agitation.
A spokesman said that Malik also visited the house of slain militant commander Burhan Wani in Tral and met his father Muzaffar Wani.
Malik left from his Maisuma residence after midnight and reached Tral around Fajar (early morning prayers) time.
Malik was arrested on July 8, hours after Burhan was killed in an encounter with government forces in Kokernag area of Islamabad (Anantnag) district in south Kashmir.
He was released from central jail on Oct 29 – nearly after four months of detention.
