Four persons were injured in Sopore town of district Baramulla after clashes erupted between the protestors and government forces during a cordon and search operation on Tuesday.
Reports said that a joint team of 22 RR of the army, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF launched a CASO in Brath village after receiving the inputs about the presence of the militants in the area.
Reports also said that three youth were also detained, adding that the government forces were pelted by stones. Forces responded with tear gas and pellets, leaving four youth injured.
A police official said that the situation in the area is normal now and they are investigating the matter.
